Book Signing at local Barnes and Noble
On January 26, 2006, the Westminister, Colorado, Barnes and
Noble will host a book fair for Hyland Christian Shool. Ken
will sign "Saratogan Trees"
with all proceeds going to Hyland. Barnes and Noble will donate
a percentage of all other books sold for three days to the school.
More information will be forthcoming about the event in January.
Saratogan Trees to be featured in
Retiree Report
The spotlight section of the 2005 October issue of the Colorado
Public Employees Retirement Association Retiree Report will
feature Ken and his novel. This semi-annual Report will be sent
to approximately 60,000 state and public school retirees. Read

Ken will be in Sardis City, Alabama,
on Saturday, October 15
He will be at the library from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. to read and sign
his book. The library staff have been promoting a one book,
one community read of "Saratogan Trees." Two classes
in local public schools have been reading the book also.
Book signing in Albertville on October

On October 14 , Ken will be signing his book at the Albertville
Candy and Gift Shop in Albertville, Alabama. The time is from
noon until 4 p.m. Address is 118 East Main Street.

June 11
Kenneth Hutcheson will be signing his book at Hearthfire Books
of Evergreen. He will be there from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday
June, 11th.
During the week of March 6th
Kenneth Hutcheson was notified by the Director of the Alabama
Public Library Services that his novel, "Saratogan Trees"
was added to their Alabama author collection and information
about the book was shared with all public library directors
in the state.
On February 9th two newspaper articles
were published on "Saratogan Trees" and author Kenneth
Hutcheson.
The first article was published in the Southern Star, a newspaper
in Ozark, Alabama. The second article, a review, was published
in the Canyon Courier of Evergreen, Colorado. The review was
initiated by the Hearthfire Bookstore in Evergreen which is
currently selling the novel.

and the author, Kenneth Hutcheson, appears in the Sand Mountain
Reporter-December 9th 2004.
The Sand Mountain Reporter is a newspaper which is distributed
to several north Alabama towns. Consequently, on Dec. 16th two
locations, the library and the Albertville Candy and Gift Shop,
began to sell the book in the author's hometown of Albertville,
Alabama. Many of the fictional events in the book were based
on experiences which occurred in the cotton mill village located
in Albertville.
